Darcie
Heater
has
been designing products for the crafting industry for over 25
years. Her talents have been utilized in various areas of the
industry, including the design and manufacture of: Rubber Stamps,
Scrapbooking Products, Paper Design, Templates and Patterns, Fabric,
Iron on Transfers, Embroidery, Machine Embroidery, Giftware, Instructional
Books, Tole Painting, Greeting Cards and More.
Darcie
started her business in 1984. She taught Tole Painting classes
at a local craft store, and soon was publishing instruction books
and manufacturing wooden items for the Tole Painting Industry. |

The
rubber stamp portion of the business was added in 1990, when customers
began asking for her designs as rubber stamps. Soon Darcie began
using the stamps, and the line grew rapidly. A line of paper products,
templates and scrapbooking products was added in 1996. The business
was moved to a small manufacturing facility where it remained
until 2007.
The
business was merged with Art Gone Wild (Ted and Michelle Cutts)
in Cleveland, Ohio in 2007. Art Gone Wild now manufactures the
rubber stamps and scrapbooking products, provides customer service,
inventory management and expedites the orders. In addition, Art
Gone Wild exhibits the booth and products at trade shows throughout
the year. The merger allowed Darcie to concentrate on the design
portion of the business.
Art
Gone Wild and Friends includes sister companies: Art
Gone Wild, Darcie's, LLC,
Inky Antics, and Stamper's
Anonymous. |
